SAVE OUR BEACH
Several private revetments have been proposed adjacent to Cherry Beach. Environmental researchers from both the University of Michigan and Michigan Technological University believe rock wall revetments threaten Great Lakes beaches. Members of our community understand and respect the desire to protect private property but not at the peril of damaging precious public land.
